  1. I just use mono for everything. I fish a lot of brushy areas that damages the line a lot and I can buy 1000 yard rolls of mono for cheap.

  2. monofilament line – Trying to understand this, if there is a hook and sinker on the line like Carolina line, how will the line float? Won’t the weight of hook and sinker just take the bait to the bottom even with monofilament line ?

  3. I’m so stupid, I use all three in one setup. Mono backing if the reel isn’t braid ready, braid fully spooled, abd a flouro leader.
