How To Set Up A Kid’s Fishing Pole

PRODUCT LINK:

I can remember getting my hand me down Zebco 202 and fishing my first pond with a hook, bobber and worm. First catching panfish, then catfish and finally bass. To say I was hooked (with pun intended) is an understatement – I became a full blown BASSAHOLIC!

Everyone has to start somewhere and this video is for those just getting into the sport of fishing. It introduces the beginnings of a wonderful journey. From how to assemble your first spincast combo, to tying a palomar knot and casting techniques – this one has it ALL!

I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together. I also hope you find the link to the Oddspro Starter Combo Pack useful as a great starting point for gifting a new angler some quality gear at a great price!

  1. Going to be ordering some for my kids and one for myself! Perfect to keep behind my seat for those last minute trips!

  2. I bought my first fishing pole when I was 9 at Federals Department store in Roseville Michigan in 1968. It was a zebco with brown fiberglass two piece pole. The pole used cork for the handle and was about 6 ft. long. I miss that pole. It was my number perch pole for 40 years till I lost it.
